Overview
305K is a zinc-based slide-way and guide plate grade, not a composite wear plate. It is chosen for guide surfaces, slide ways and support faces where a low-friction sliding contact and resistance to galling matter as much as straight abrasion. Plates are machined flat, with oil grooves and fixing holes to drawing, so they bolt straight onto the machine.
For chute and hopper linings exposed to sliding abrasion and moderate impact, use BT-CW bimetallic wear plates instead.

FAQ
- What is a 305K slide plate? 305K is our zinc-based slide-way and guide plate grade. It is used on guide surfaces and support faces where friction and galling matter as much as straight abrasion, rather than on chute walls where a composite wear plate belongs.
- How is 305K different from BT-CW? BT-CW is a composite (bimetal) wear plate with a hard wear layer on a tough backing, for sliding abrasion and moderate impact. 305K is a zinc-based slide-way and guide plate for low-friction sliding contact and resistance to galling.
- Can 305K plates be machined with oil grooves and bolt holes? Yes. Plates are machined flat, with oil grooves, counterbored or countersunk fixing holes and edge details to drawing.
- What is the minimum order quantity? One piece for a sample or trial; batch quantities for maintenance spares and production.
