The core pivot of heavy-duty equipment
Babbitt (white metal) bearing shells and oil-film bearings for heavy-duty rotating equipment - cast, bonded and machined to drawing, in tin-based and lead-based alloys.
Babbitt bearing shells - also called white-metal bearings or oil-film bearings - are the pivot a machine actually turns on: every tonne of load on a rotary kiln, mill, turbine or reducer passes through them. We supply these shells cast and machined to the original drawing, or reverse-engineered from a sample or site measurement, in tin-based and lead-based Babbitt, solid or bonded to a steel or cast-iron shell back where the duty requires it.
